How to behave at the House of Experiments?


·       Have Fun, Observe, Touch, Rotate, Press, and Discover!

·       Touch the exhibits, explore, experiment!

·       Discuss the results. Remember, you're here to have fun, expand your knowledge, and communicate.

·       If you want to learn more, read the descriptions of the exhibits. Even the most obvious things can be discovered in a new way.

·       Ask questions. We’re here to make you feel as comfortable and engaged as possible.

·       Share your ideas and thoughts with us. We will certainly respect your wishes and suggestions.

·       Eat and drink only in the designated area – the Party Room.

·       Be polite to other visitors and respect the exhibits.

·       Tell your friends about us.

·      Plan your visit and book as many hours as you want to stay with us; book one hour, stay one hour!

·       Leave your younger siblings under 3 years old at home. They will quickly get bored and cry, disturbing other visitors.
 

REMEMBER:

·       Have Fun, Observe, Touch, Rotate, Press, and Discover, but don’t disturb others! Don’t push or run through the halls.

·       Glass can break, and you and your friends could get hurt. Don’t hit the glass objects.

·       You cannot enter the exhibition intoxicated or bring alcoholic beverages.

·       Do not bring explosive, flammable, toxic, or corrosive substances, firearms, or items that could cut, pierce, or scratch.

·       Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire House.

·       Keep the area clean.

·       Children under 3 years old are not allowed!


Dear Parents and Educators,

Please keep an eye on your children! Do not allow them to wander through the House unsupervised. This place is a Science Center where play meets science! The more discoveries, the better!

Attention!
Children under 14 years old can access the exhibition and all additional activities (workshops, shows, programs, courses, etc.) only when accompanied by an adult. Children under 7 years old can access the exhibition only if accompanied by multiple adults (one adult for every maximum of 4 children).

 

USEFUL INFORMATION

Ramps are provided for accessibility for people with disabilities.

 Luggage

Each visitor can use a free locker available for storing luggage. For organized groups, suspended wardrobes are used. However, please note: The House of Experiments is not responsible for lost or forgotten items.

Toilets

There is a special restroom available for people with disabilities.

 Dogs and other animals

The House of Experiments allows access only for visually impaired individuals accompanied by specially trained guide dogs. Other animals are not permitted in the exhibition.

 Bring a snack with you

In our Party Room, you can eat the food you brought from home.


INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES

For whom is House of Experiments?

The House of Experiments welcomes all visitors from ages 3 to 99. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult, with one adult for every 4 children. School groups, to benefit from the special group rate, must present a nominal list at reception containing the full names and grades of all participants. The list must be signed and stamped by the educational institution's management.

We offer over 100 experiments, ensuring everyone can find their favorite "toy," and time will fly while you explore and play with what you enjoy. Please leave objects that are part of an exhibit in their designated places.

What can you do at the House of Experiments?

At the House of Experiments, you can play and have as much fun as you like on a 500 m² space (make sure to reserve enough time in advance). Your fun will not be disturbed as long as you follow the rules. There are demonstrations, workshops, and shows at specific times, which are also highly entertaining.

You can organize a party for a special event for a fee payable at reception. For more information, check out the Parties page.

When are we available for you?

From 6th January 2016, we’ve been open every day of the week according to our Program. Since 1st of July 2016, admission requires an entrance fee.

What is the purpose of the House of Experiments?

It’s all about discovery through experimentation, laughter, and play. Our aim is to keep visitors in a good mood while they spend quality time with their loved ones, discovering new things together.

Is prior reservation necessary?

It’s recommended! To avoid overcrowding, please reserve the day and time of your visit using the Reservations menu. Remember, it’s important to stay in the House for the hours you’ve reserved. Otherwise, be prepared for long queues at various exhibits. The House staff is not responsible for overcrowding. BOOKING


INFORMATION FOR TEACHERS / SCHOOLS

What age groups can visit the House of Experiments?

Whether they’re in kindergarten, school, or high school, all children can visit as long as they have adult supervision!

For kindergarteners, one adult is required for every 4 children; for primary school students, one adult for every 6 children; and for older students, one adult for every 10 children.

The maximum number for a group is 24 children. On the visit day please bring a nominal list that also indicates the age of each child. The list must be signed and stamped by the school's management.


How can you participate at the Workshops?

To participate in workshops, you’ll need to divide your group in two. Please bring an additional adult to supervise half the group in the exhibit area while you attend the workshop with the other half. Afterward, switch.

We encourage you to choose one of our workshops and notify us of your interest via email or phone. Each workshop includes information for teachers, which we invite you to review.
